Scott Baldridge

Scott Baldridge is the founder and president of Aedis Real Estate Group. He is responsible for the overall direction of the company. Being in the affordable housing industry since the early 90’s, he has established many relationships with key players in different roles within the industry. His primary role for Aedis is forming strategic alliances in developing affordable housing.

Scott began his career in public finance in 1990, underwriting and structuring over $4 billion of fixed income securities. In 1998 Mr. Baldridge joined the Royal Bank of Canada’s Capital Markets Group (“RBC”). At RBC he focused on multi-family bond structures with various credit enhancements, including HUD Risk Sharing, Fannie Mae DUS, S&P and Moody’s affordable housing programs, and a variety of other multifamily and affordable housing financing products. In 2004, Scott became the CEO of a large non-profit, who was the General Partner owner of nearly 8,000 units at the time. During his time with the non-profit, Scott developed new asset management protocols, and designed a new acquisition strategy. In 2006, he formed a company now known as Allied Argenta. At Allied Argenta, Scott was responsible for acquiring and rehabilitating five properties utilizing tax exempt bond financing and 4% tax credits, totaling over 1,000 units.

Scott has been an active member of his Laguna Beach, California community. He was a long serving member of the board at both Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic School, and served as the Co-Finance Director of the Saint Catherine of Siena Parrish. Scott also was a head coach for the Laguna Beach Age Group Water Polo team, and led his teams to five national title games, winning one national championship.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California Los Angeles, and a post graduate degree in International Finance and Accounting from the London School of Economics.
